This series of paintings is based on love.and the feelings it elicits. The electro chemical reactions to love in the brain, and the desire it causes.
We are here to evolve, learn, accomplish, inspire, and create. There are combinations of these elements that give us drive and will. No matter where we come from, what our status is, intellectual prowess, or position in life, I feel there is one more thing beyond the elements that makes most of us the same. Love. Beyond all the distractions and glamour, pain, and suffering, I feel we all want to love and be loved. I'll close this book with the wish that you have love in your life and heart and that it attracts the love you deserve.
"Love is the Answer" is the first of the series and depicts the love of a couple as they affectionately lean towards echother. They are formed simply by the archway the defines day from night. A golden film that seperates the dark from the light. Their love is universal and exists in the complexity that is the world around us. Each thermal whisp in the space time of the scene is executed to visulaize the wondrous complexity of even the most simple landscape. Know that the same complex fluidity flows within and throughout the space between your molecules, with each complex pocket formed dby the movement of temperature and corpuscular movement. The world around us is a wondrous place, but just behind the verneer of our senses, lies a world beyond the dreams of most.

Love is the Answer Oil on Canvas 12"x9" Louis Markoya - 2020

Love is the Answer is based on the tiny painting to the left, which has been brought to visualization utilizing the very latest in Neural software and deep dreams.
That painting which I did long ago was based on a combination of two Dali works shown below, Couple with Heads full of Clouds and Architectural Reminiscence of Millets Angelus.

Zac Brown and the Zac Brown Band

Country Artist Zac Brown is not just a collector of fine art and a spectacular showman, but a lover of Salvador Dali and that love brought him to my work, which he fortunately loved. Zac bought several small pieces and some time later invited me to see him live where he told me of his dream album and an idea for me to produce art for it. I was initially supposed to produce a painting for each of the songs on the album . Zac provided me with previews of some songs which I started working on after discussing the topics in them with him and I produced paintings, but one image I developed, which Zac loved because of its resemblance of Carravagio with a touch of Dali, so I challanged Zac to develop a song based on the image, art inspiring art in the opposite direction. The image turns out to be the cover image for Love and Fear. It is an apocalyptic image of the battle between good and evil.

Cristo's Dream and My Self Portrait are the last paintings to be created before the finale of the series was painted. Working with cloth in these paintings could not help but bring me to the whimsy Christo had in wrapping Statues, bridges and even islands. I immediately came to the conclusion that if he had the ability, wrapping the Milky Way would have been his penultimate achievement. Here the force of the universe shredding the cloth makes for both an abstract and beautiful image, full of wonder and expansion of thought.

The interior of birds bones perhaps depicts the perfect form of the invisible universe, which includes rhinocerotic and molecular forms to construct and depict even a sense of string theory

6"x 9" postcard to announce Leepa Rattner show Aug 2021

In 2003 there was a Surrealist Ball held in Williamsburg, NY. The show was supposed to have Giger, Ernst Fuchs and much more there. I decided I'll show them who is a surrealist and built a costume to mimic Dali's Man becoming a Schooner, the mast was formed as a backbone which was mounted at my hips...it made an amazing scene. Unfortunately none of the headliners showed up for the ball and it was full of unicorns and fairies who knew nothing about surrealism.

I also made this large molecular structure to wear at the High opening. There were many admirers

The High hired me to talk at an event called Friends of Dali. For this event I made a headdress of the molecular structure which was a complete cube. I wore the molecule during my entire talk and posed in front of the Raphalesque Madonna by Dali that inspired the building of such a headdress

Myself, Ultra Violet, and Denise Sanders

Here I am telling a anecdote of my times with Dali

For the opening of Dali and Cinema at MoMA in NY, I made a Tux that had drawers on its arms, and legs. Even the tie had a row of drawers. The tux was a big hit and drew lots of attention.

Wore the tux on the train to NY and took this shot upon arrival

Elliot King, prominent Dali scholar, though the tux was just right Amazing
