While life can easily be seen as all there is, in many cases there could be no life without death. The human body contains 49 elements that are necessary for complex life. Since all the elements found on earth were created only at the creation, you can safely assume that the elements in your body have been rivers, oceans, plants, dinosaurs and even other humans. (As a side note if elements had a form of memory, it can explain reincarnation.) So in death and the dissolution of what makes you seem solid, these elements are once again returned to the earth to be recycled to become new rives, oceans, plants, animals and even individuals. The future can occur only with death.
