Just before one Knoedler opening Dali gave me the chore to find lots and lots of plastic wheat fronds. I tried and tried, but could not find plastic wheat anywhere. During this search I presented him with the Homage I did for him in Rowlux. In bringing it up to his room, he started yelling and yelling that I was not spending my time on the right thing. The right thing was pictured in this drawing, wheat fronds attached to little springs which would blow chaotically in front of a fan.

This particular Rowlux film has the lens in only one side of the film as opposed to both on most of the films they make. So a single sheet has no optical effect. But put one sheet of this on top of another, and turn it and the effect goes from nothing to very large and back. Since this delighted Dali he felt we could make a clock where the movement of time would change the optical effect....and at each time there would be a different complete Dali signature...the proto here only had 7 time slots

This drawing of a madonna is a copy of the madonna owned by the Encyclopedia Britannica. I brought it to Albert Field who identified it as real.......but Dali was just upstairs, so it was shown it to him.

Dali looked at the drawing, looked at Albert, looked at me...turned it over and wrote...IS NOT Salvador Dali

Dail signed this heavy card sheet for me by pouring ink out of the bottle and dragging the bottle to make the signature

Dali did this drawing for me when we were busy counting wrinkles in Anus's. Dali was convinced 35 was a magic number, and in fact, he said an anus would have exactly 35 wrinkles. He would bring in models who thought the were going to get drawn and they would have to drop their pants or skirt so we could count the wrinkles...and if it did not come out to 35, he would make me start over...marking each one.....too funny. The anus in this drawing is actually a medusa

Ink drawing of violin hipped woman. One of the perks of hanging with Dali was that there were always beautiful models around. On occason Dali would discuss them with me and this drawing occured after one with really pronounced hip bones had been aound.

This self portrait was done to make me mimic one of the jesters that were on the walls of the St Regis cocktail lounge. (See photo's of Dali and I in photo section)

Dali also did this ink drawing for the most part with the edge of the ink bottle. Of course it was don in front of an audience, who sighed and squeeled with delight at his movements while drawing

I asked Dali about this angel in one of his paintings and he immediately did a drawing of it
