In Painting my Fluid Sensuality, I have come to realize again, I am painting the same obsessions over and over, just with new insight, technique, or evolution. Here, the unbridled beauty of the female form is combined with the other elements I have always picked as the closest forms that are occurring just beyond the senses. The delicate furls of the bearded iris petals, the fluid forms of the beta fish fins, the ecstatic outgrowths of the murex shell, and all forms of turbulence. The forms of nature delicately morphing into suspended fabrics and fluids, all with the grace of a ballet.

Combining these natural forms with the mystery of a half-hidden female face leads the viewer into the mystical state of wonder. The same wonder that Berninii expressed through his Escstacy of St Teresa........exquisite beauty.
